Step 1: Thread the slider of your choice onto your leather strip.

Step 2: Measure your wrist and cut off any excess leather.  Keep in mind that the clasp will add a little bit of space.  You may want to trim your leather where you think you want it and just slide it into the clasp without glue to get an idea of how big it will be.

Step 3: Apply a small amount of glue to one end of your leather and insert it into one end of the clasp.  Repeat on the other side.

Really, friends, that’s it.  You’re done.  It’s that easy.  Slip on the slider, trim, glue, and voilá!  I seriously made both of these in less than five minutes…that’s my kind of project!

Leather Bracelets

Honestly, the hardest part for me was that I had selected a large variety of leather colors and sizes and even more assorted charms, so I agonized over what charms I wanted to pair with what leather and exactly how I wanted to create each piece.  But once you’ve decided on what you want, they couldn’t be quicker or simpler to make!

Are you a fan?  Can you see yourself making or wearing leather bracelets like these?  I may be just a *tiny* bit addicted to making them {12 bracelets later…}.
