Rhinestone Pavé Dangle Earrings
You all know that our motto around here is that glitter makes everything better, and you know I’m easily distracted by shiny things! So when I saw Rhinestone Pavé Ball beads last time I was browsing the GoodyBeads site, I couldn’t resist! They come in lots of colors, but the Fuchsia was my favorite. Here’s how I made some sparkly dangle earrings with them…
TIME REQUIRED: 5 minutes
DIFFICULTY LEVEL: beginner/easy
SPECIAL TOOLS/SKILLS: basic wire loop making
Materials:
{mine were provided by Goody Beads; all opinions are mine!}
10mm Round Fuchsia Rhinestone Pavé Balls
Silver Plated Kidney Shaped Ear Wires
20 gauge Silver Plated Headpins with Ball Top
Needle nose pliers, Flat nose pliers, Wire cutters
Step 1: Place your pavé ball on a head pin.
Step 2: Form a simple wire loop. You can do wire wrapping if you like, but I felt like that took away from the beauty of the bead itself. If you’re not sure how to make a loop, check out my Basic Wire Loops & Wrapping post. It will walk you through with step by step photos; I promise, it’s easier than you think!
Step 3: Slide the wire loop onto a kidney shaped ear wire. If you prefer the look of a french ear wire or another type, you can certainly substitute whatever you like. I chose this because I like the effect of it and the fact that this type of earring is longer, which works better with my hair.
That’s all there is to it; another super simple jewelry project you can do in less than five minutes…and look how fun the finished earrings are! I mean, who doesn’t love to sparkle and shine?
Another hit!! I love the color you chose!! These are super cute!!!
